There's no mistaking the progress that has been made: for 2024 the Hanak range of competition fly rods has been upgraded with the addition of Graphene and a new management system for the guides, making the new USG Graphene Superlight series one of the best products on the market.
This is an all-new series of ultra-thin, extra-light, highly sensitive four-piece rods with a curvature that provides excellent fish-holding qualities. These rods have been designed and tested to perfection in close collaboration with multiple world champion Tereza Rutová, with the aim of creating the most sensitive and finest rods possible.
The ability to cast all types of nymphs, even the lightest, with ease and precision, to make accurate drifts while retaining a sensitivity that allows the rod to feel and receive as much information as possible.

In addition, František Kouba, Miloslav Hosenseidl, Vojtěch Ungr, Roman Heimlich, Luboš Roza, Ivan Vančura and František Hanák were actively involved in development and testing.
Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology and the revolutionary Hexagone Graphene material, it has been possible to refine the blanks by at least 10% compared with the original Superlight, while retaining the original qualities and improving the speed of the rod. Finally, thanks to the use of extra-light, super-quality components, the weight has been reduced by around 30% (down to 30g) compared with ordinary rods.
