The Hanak Superlight XL fly box is designed to fit large streamer flies, sea flies, salmon flies and pike flies.

It can also be an excellent choice for your large dry flies such as Mayflies which generally have a high volume and large wings, if you don't want them to be damaged by boxes that aren't high enough. With 32mm of headroom inside and a total of 16 rows of slots, the box offers great flexibility in fly placement and good storage capacity. The box has a blue woven coating that offers excellent grip.

Flies are placed lengthways, without poking the hooks into the foam, which compresses the hook point from the sides. The boxes float and have a simple, effective magnetic closure.

External size: 20cm long x 10cm wide and 5cm thick, making the box practical for waistcoats or chests packs. The boxes are clearly visible and you can write on them to help you tell them apart.

They also float well, which could save you in case you drop one at the wrong moment.
