The greased line nymph allows you to explore areas of weak current and areas where nymph fishing with a raised rod and drift control is not possible. Your leader will be made up of a long fluorescent tippet part, ideally white, pink or yellow, which will be greased to float on the surface while supporting a light nymph. The end of the fluorescent part will be finished by a micro loop also greased, to which it is necessary to connect just the point and the nymph, on average it is considered that the point must be 1.5 times the depth, but it is only an average which can vary strongly according to situations.
